Teknion Products Honored at 2014 Green Good Design Awards
As the New England region’s largest Teknion dealer, we at officeworks were excited to learn of this recent award given to two of Teknion’s great products. The Sidewise casegoods workstation and Projek task seating were both awarded Green Good Design Awards for 2014.
The Green Good Design competition is sponsored by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. Over 100 products, programs, people, environmental planning and architecture from 24 nations were selected as outstanding examples of Green Good Design. The winners are among the world’s most important manufacturers, design firms and leading Fortune 500 corporations.
“Green Good Design Awards are a significant recognition of our companies’ efforts to deliver design that respects the environment,” said David Feldberg, Teknion President & CEO. “We proudly share these awards with the two highly respected design firms with which we partnered to bring Sidewise and Projek to market – figure3 and Orangebox Limited, respectively – who share our commitment to sustainable development.”
All of us at officeworks congratulate our partners at Teknion on this honor. The European Centre and The Chicago Athenaeum will organize a special exhibition in Athens, Greece, with 2014 Green Good Design winners. The exhibition opens in September, 2014, and is scheduled to travel. For more information, visit: www.europeanarch.eu
