Helping The Home for Little Wanderers

Recently, several members of the officeworks team were able to lend their support by helping to create a day of fun for kids and staff at Harrington House and The Home for Little Wanderers.  It was our pleasure to support such a worth organization which is helping so many kids and families.

The program at the Harrington House provides residential treatment by offering a safe, structured home-like, living environment. Children living at Harrington House participate fully in the community through school attendance and extracurricular activities. The program offers clinical services, health services, psychiatric services, educational assistance, milieu therapy, and case management services.

The Home for Little Wanderers provides a seamless continuum of vital programs and services for every stage of child and family development. For more than 200 years they’ve earned a reputation for doing whatever it takes to strengthen vulnerable families and keep children safe in their own communities, even when they don’t have family support.

We have a great time at these events, especially when we get to see the smiles on children’s faces enjoying an afternoon of fun!  Colleen Fitzpatrick, the Director of Volunteer and Community Outreach sent us this wonderful note and the picture above of the officeworks crew.  It was our pleasure to be there Colleen.
